  1. If it is more conducive to hypertrophic purposes In keeping systemic igf1 lower than local igf1, does this mean there is an upper limit of gh usage on daily basis that would be considered ‘pissing it up the wall’ for hypertrophy intentions.

Surely if we were to micro dose larger amounts across a 24 hour period say, 10iu split up in the day to as little as 1iu increments, then systemic igf1 would forever be elevated above that threshold. This may be coming from the wrong angle of thinking due to my rudimental understanding of igf1 so my apologies

    1. Hey dude,
Unfortunately, rather than ‘keeping systemic IGF-1 lower than autocrine/paracrine IGF-1’, it is more a case of ‘avoiding pushing up systemic IGF-1 per dose as much as possible’.
There absolutely is a threshold of GH use/day where the increase in systemic IGF-1 would be beyond the inverted U of positive outcomes for local IGF-1.
10iu split up in 1iu increments MAY be beyond that threshold (that hasn’t been elucidated in data, but I’ve hypothesised from data around the 8-9iu/day mark). But it would be even further beyond that threshold and further attenuating autocrine/paracrine IGF-1, if you bolus dosed that as a single 10iu.

  2. Hey Joe. You mention potential negative effect of dosing gh with insulin at the same time. With how my day is set up (train at 5am) it’s only really practical for me with work etc to dose my GH (1.5iu AM/PM) and lantus (10-15iu daily) at the same time first thing upon wake…is this something you’d look to change or will the impact across a period of time be minimal in terms of detrimental effects? Cheers!

  3. Thanks Joe! You briefly touched on this but… my work schedule forces me to train first thing in the morning. So I take my Novo Rapid pre and post workout. If I were to micro dose my 4iu of GH would it be advisable to take 2iu with my pre workout Insulin and 2iu before bed. Or should I avoid taking GH at the same time as Insulin at all costs? Thanks!

    1. Perhaps Joe could do a video touching on insulin and its effects with growth hormone in the picture under different conditions, how it can be good and bad. @Joe Im also curious to hear if joes views has changed since this video was made and what he thinks of todd lee and kurt havens ideas ( they cover their views on GH timing and dosing here: https://youtu.be/hyHl26RCiq4 Kurt havens apparently wrote a book on GH as well.
